KUALA LUMPUR, August 16, 2023 – A signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was held today between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Falcon Safe Marketing Sdn. Bhd., and Urusan Teknologi Wawasan Sdn. Bhd. (UTW) at the Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Chancellor's Building, UiTM Shah Alam.

YBhg. Professor Datuk Dr. Hajah Roziah Mohd Janor stated that with this synergy, I believe Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) will become more established and steadfast in achieving its organizational objectives and goals.

UiTM, through the Office of Industry Network, Alumni, and Community (ICAN) of the College of Engineering (KPK), has established a collaborative partnership with the industry to enhance cooperation between the two parties. The MoU with Falcon Safe Marketing focuses on high-strength concrete-related research intended for industrial use, led by a research team from the Innovative Construction Materials (INCOM UiTM) group, headed by Dr. Nazirah Mohd Apandi. Meanwhile, UTW is dedicated to student placement programs for Industrial Training, seminars, skill enhancement workshops for student employability, and career opportunities for KPK Alumni, led by Ir. Dr. Nor Farahaida Abdul Rahman.

This agreement was signed by YBhg. Profesor Datuk Dr. Hajah Roziah Mohd Janor, Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, alongside Mr. Lester Ch’ng Cheey Chuan, representing Falcon Safe Marketing Sdn Bhd's Managing Director, Francis Yeoh Chor Yong, and Ts Nurshuhaila Mohd Amin, CEO of UTW, witnessed by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Hamidah Mohd Saman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the College of Engineering, UiTM.

Falcon Safe Marketing Sdn Bhd expressed his hope that through this collaboration, there will be more opportunities for knowledge sharing, student practical training, and joint research, which will have a positive impact on society and the industry. And also hopes that the collaboration with UiTM can bring significant impacts to both parties.
